Less than 3 hours flight from Australia and New Zealand, escape to the ‘Happiest Country on Earth’ today! Erakor Island is 16 acres of unspoilt tropical paradise perfectly positioned in the crystal blue waters of Erakor lagoon which flows to Pacific Ocean and beyond.
Erakor Island offers all the features of the big resorts, without the concrete and crowds. Enjoy the relaxation and seclusion of the Waterfront Accommodation and experience the Vanuatu culture with the friendly Ni-Vanuatu resort staff.
The resort has Aqua on Erakor Seafood Waterfront Restaurant, Calypso’s Juice Bar, Reflections Lounge, Watersports Hut, Essence Day Spa and lots of sunloungers and hammocks for lazy days. The home of Erakor Villagers until 1959, the island is steeped in history with the open air chapel (known to be the first church built in the Pacific Islands), grave headstones from 1843, Chief’s memorials and original buildings of yesteryear including the old dispensary, missionary’s house and foundations of the original school. Wander through the lush tropical tracks to the many white sand beaches and immerse yourself in the days gone by along the way.
A short paddle across the lagoon, sits Erakor Village and a community proud of their smol alean (small island). The people of Erakor will welcome you to visit their homes, schools and churches and the Erakor Village Pikinini Choir love to join Erakor Island weddings and serenade the guests.
Relax & Rejuvenate! Essence of Erakor Day Spa brings you a part of the soul of beautiful Erakor Island. Here, you can be pampered with fresh tropical treatments of coconut oils, papaya lotions, cucumber, lime and many more island relaxants.
Make a day of it – catch up on goss with your friends and pamper yourselves with one of the great value Spa Packages and finish it off with a tropical lunch and a glass or two. Jeffrey and his lovely spa team will make your visit wonderful and revitalizing.
